Based on what the Bible says about growing peace of mind and heart in your life, You can grow peace of mind and heart in your life in the following key ways.

1. Focus on God's trustworthiness rather than  your circumstances. Raise your perspective beyond your circumstances to  God who can best help you manage them. Don't dwell and concentrate on  your worries, because that will only make you worry more… and worrying will waste time and weaken your faith. Instead, focus on the source of all peace: God. Focus your life on your relationship with God. As you do so, you will notice the many ways God helps you. Let your gratitude for this move you to trust God more, so you can experience more of the peace of mind and heart He wants to give you. I Corinthians 10:13 is a great Biblical example of this “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

2. Fulfill God's work in your life through His Holy Spirit. Peace is one of the “fruit of the Spirit” mentioned in the Bible  in Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.The Holy Spirit will help you develop peace of mind and peace of heart as you fulfill God's work in your life. Every time you say “yes” to what God leads you to do, you are opening the doors for God's peace to flow into your life. The word “Peace” comes from the Hebrew word “shalom.” In Hebrew, this word has more meaning than the  word “peace” in English Language. Shalom refers to complete happiness, with every part of creation existing in harmony with the Creator and thus thriving. By working with the Holy Spirit, you can experience shalom – true peace of mind… true peace of heart… true peace…. with God, and that will also help you be at peace within yourself and with others.

3. Faithfully seek God's help with your worries. As the Bible says, “Pray without ceasing.” Communicate faithfully, persistently and regularly with God  and ask Him to help you in all matters of concern. Turn your problems into prayers. Instead of worrying about your problems, challenges and stresses, talk to God about them and trust Him to help you solve each specific problem. While you wait for God's answer, you can still feel secure that God will give it to you if you trust Him. You can't predict how God will answer your prayer, but no matter how God answers, prayer is always worth it. This is because prayer helps you get closer to God. In the process, your perspective becomes more aligned with God's, so that when God answers your prayers, you can see that He has answered in the right way at the best  of times.

In Conclusion:

The Bible reassures you that in any situation, you can find true and lasting peace through a relationship with God. God not only gives you peace, but He actually gives you the peace you need in  life. The more you trust God, the more peace you can feel in your soul, no matter what stressful situations you face. I close with two verses: Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."
