Get to know Pastor Clint and Sister Donna Kerns—their story, their music ministry, and their invitation to become part of our church family.
Pastor Clint W. Kerns, ThD
Pastor Kerns came to Bible Baptist Church in Crossville in 2013. His years of ministry bring together preaching, teaching, and a love for the music of the local church.
Called to preach as a teenager, he preached his first sermon in January 1980. He later helped found and direct the Concord Baptist Church Revival Choir, working with young people and developing music for church choirs.
His invitation here is personal: come hear the Bible, meet our church family, and let us get to know you.
Meet Sister Donna
Sister Donna is Pastor Kerns’s wife and a pianist, arranger, and accompanist with decades of experience in church music. Her ministry has included playing for services, choirs, revivals, and camp meetings at Concord Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Camp.
She and Pastor Kerns arrange music together, and Sister Donna transcribes their arrangements into sheet music that other churches can use. Her own piano collections include the Piano Praise series.
That musical background is an important part of their shared story of serving the Lord and helping others worship through song.
A heritage of faith and ministry
Pastor Kerns and Sister Donna share a ministry heritage rooted in Concord Baptist Church in Resaca, Georgia, where Brother Sammy Allen served as pastor. Under his leadership, they helped found and direct the Concord Baptist Church Revival Choir.
Sister Donna’s daddy, Brother Stennett Ballew, served closely alongside Brother Sammy as his left-hand man. That family connection and those years of ministry are an important part of Pastor and Sister Donna’s story—a heritage of Bible preaching, Gospel music, and service in the local church.
Through Church Choir Music, Pastor and Sister Donna share the experience they have gained in choir rehearsals, church services, recording sessions, and years of working with church musicians. Their resources include choir arrangements, piano music, and practical teaching materials, with a shared desire to help local churches honor Christ through music.
